Bike Lane Mural, Brooklyn, NY
Over the past few years, the New York City DOT has collaborated with New York Cares and professional artists from around the metro area to produce creative and transformative murals on barrier sites around the City. Debra Hampton was commissioned to paint 600 feet along the waterfront in Brooklyn Heights as part of the inaugural initiative. Her design was completed with help from students at FIT's art department and volunteers from New York Cares.
